The dress code is semi-formal attire. Suits and dresses are recommended. The ceremony will take place outside. We recommend wearing a light jacket and low or thicker-heeled shoes.
Our Ceremony will be unplugged. We invite you to be fully present with us in this beautiful moment by kindly turning off all cameras and phones. Our photographer is great and will capture the moment perfectly.
There is free parking at Boxed and Burlap if you would like to drive. For those who do not want to drive, we will have shuttles available from Lake Lawn Resort. Please visit the Travel or Schedule Page for more details on the shuttle schedule. Transportation WILL NOT be provided to and from the Holiday Inn.
The ceremony and reception spaces are both at Boxed and Burlap so put your travel worries to the side and enjoy the night!
Delevan is right next to Lake Geneva and is only a quick hour and 30 minute drive from downtown Chicago. You may also take the Northwest Metra line to Harvard, IL and the hotel is a 30 minute drive from there (ubers permitting or setting up a ride from friends/family).
Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport is about 50 miles (45-50 minutes) from Lake Geneva, while Chicago O'Hare International Airport is 85 miles (1.5-2 hours) away.
Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to limited seating.
