Like many modern love stories, ours started with a swipe. It was our second date that really sealed the deal. We met at the Harp and Dragon pub in Norwich, CT on a rainy, gray day that somehow turned out to be absolutely perfect. We spent over three hours playing card games, sharing drinks, and getting lost in conversation — the kind where time just seems to disappear. From that day on, we both knew there was something different about this connection.

When we picture our future together we see wide-open land with a cozy home we’ve built with our own hands. We want a life centered around love, laughter, and simple joys. Our dream is to create a homestead to build a life connected to the earth and to each other. We imagine mornings spent collecting fresh eggs from our little nugget raptors (otherwise known as chickens), afternoons tending gardens and caring for our animals, and evenings gathered on the porch watching the sunset. For us, the future isn’t about perfection — it’s about intention. It’s about working side by side, building a home that reflects who we are and the life we believe in. And we can’t wait to bring that dream to life, one nugget raptor at a time.
