Playalinda Beach - Canaveral National Seashore Please see the Canaveral National Seashore’s website for current hours of operation. Playalinda Beach is located inside Canaveral National Seashore, one of America’s national parks. Located in North Brevard, this undeveloped beach known for its serene environment and pristine shoreline.
As part of the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, Black Point Wildlife Drive is a 7-mile, one-way drive where you can see waterfowl, wading birds, alligators, river otters, bobcats and other wildlife. The path follows a dike road around shallow marsh impoundments and through pine flatwoods and takes approximately 40 minutes to complete. Peak wildlife season is from October to March and is most active in the early morning or late afternoon. Please drive slow and do not approach or feed wildlife. There is a $10 donation fee per vehicle for a day pass.
