Question

How do I book a room?

Answer

Guests should send an email to the hotel to receive booking requests as follows: Send the email to: groups@papayaplayaproject.com CC: weddingsandgroups@papayaplayaproject.com CC: cirlincione25@gmail.com hola@angelinacardenas.com EMAIL FORMAT: SUBJECT: BOOKING REQUEST + WEDDING GROUP NAME (Anna Jachec & Christopher Cirlincione) + DATES OF YOUR STAY + GUEST NAME(S) In the Message Body: -Full Names: Guest(s) occupying the room -Occupancy: SGL (1 - one person in the room) DBL (2- two people in the room) *indicate the number of people occupying the room. -Check In: Arrival Date -Check Out: Departure Date -Room Category: Choose the preferred room category according to the room block. -Special Requests Once the above steps are completed, the hotel will contact the guests via email with payment instructions. When payment is completed, the hotel will confirm that the reservation is made. Should you need to pay at a later date, please contact Anna/Chris and we can assist.

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes! Not only do you need a passport but it must be valid 6 months after your anticipated return home. Please renew your passport if it expires soon and if you don't have a passport please apply for it sooner rather than later.

When will the bride and groom be there?

Answer

Chris and Anna will be staying Wednesday, February 19th until Wednesday, March 5th. Feel free to join or leave us whenever you please. We are so very thankful for you coming to celebrate with us and taking your vacation with us!

When should guests arrive by?

Answer

We recommend the latest you arrive at the hotel is on Friday, 2/21 by 3 PM to not miss the Welcome Party.

Is there transportation from the airport to Papaya Playa Project?

Answer

For Group Shuttles from the Airport to Papaya Playa Project, please contact our Concierge Manager, Lizzie, via email: reservations@angelinacardenas.com. She will be happy to provide you with a private car service/shuttle booking and pricing for your group to and from the airport. If you know a group of you are landing around the same time, Lizzie will assist in getting transportation for you all together.

How many nights must I stay for?

Answer

The hotel has a 3 night stay minimum, however, you can stay longer if you would like. The concierge (groups@papayaplayaproject.com CC: weddingsandgroups@papayaplayaproject.com) can give you a quote for a stay longer than 4 nights if that is your plan.

Should I buy travel insurance?

Answer

This is solely up to you, however. we do recommend you buy it. It is always safer to have it than not to have it.

How do we get to the ceremony, cocktail hour & reception?

Answer

The Ceremony will take place at the Chapel at Papaya Playa Project beginning at 4:45 PM. The cocktail hour will be immediately after the ceremony only a few steps away from the ceremony/reception location. The hotel concierge will direct you to the location of the wedding on the grounds.

Is it safe to drink the tap water?

Answer

Please note the tap water in Mexico is not drinkable. It is advisable to avoid rinsing your mouth with it in the shower and when brushing your teeth. Please only use bottled water.
