We’re getting married!

We met at Chateau 13 in late June 2022. I (Cinnamon) was having dinner with some friends, celebrating various events in our lives and Doug was our waiter. He talked to us about his daughter and connected with me over my recent separation. He asked for my number, which I wrote on the back of my receipt. He texted me before I had even left the restaurant. We had our first “family” outing of 4 (at the pumpkin patch) in October and were officially sharing an address by June 2023. We bought our home in May 2024. We adopted Khali, our wild Bernedoodle puppy in February of this year, which has completed our circus. We got engaged on our family vacation at the Gaylord Palms hotel in July, which is exactly how I wanted our forever to start: with family as the focus. The girls are so excited to be officially “sisters”! We’re so excited to celebrate our love with our closest family and friends, who know us and our stories separately and together.
