They kept bumping into each other over the course of freshman year and eventually with conversations about faith and Jesus, they became inseparable friends. Em is a one-of-a-kind friend who embodies the love of Christ in her radical pursuit of others, hospitality, and joy !!

Cing and Kate lived together in their house Uptown in college and became friends during that time over shared interests; working out, praying together, and having deep and real conversations about life. Sarah barnes. barnesgal. sarah faith. Sarah is another friend from their college house Uptown. Sarah and Cing became friends over their appreciation for logistics as they were figuring out living together. Core memories with Sarah include late night hangs, conversations about Jesus and encouraging one another, and sharing meals together. Sarah like her name says, is a faithful and steadfast friend who so easily makes others feel welcomed and known !!

Giovanna is Cing's roommate! Their friendship blossomed through living together this past year. They instantly hit it off as they shared a love for hosting and cooking, and laughing over the same sense of humor. Cing credits Giovanna for getting her through her didactic year of PA school (besides Jesus). Giovanna is quick to serve, incredibly thoughtful, and full of life!

Cing and Kamy first met at a Cru event during college where Cing asked Kamy to get boba. When the time for their boba date actually came, Cing realized she had overbooked herself and could not make it. Fast forward a year later, they started to actually hangout with Em and through attending Renaissance together and being in the same community group, became good friends. Favorite memories with Kamy are going on walks and talking about life, working out together, and having game nights! Kamy is thoughtful, kind, and has a heart for the Lord.

God brought Abby into Cing's life at such a sweet time. They met at the Renaissance Women's bible study kick off bonfire night where Cing wanted to be friends with Abby. Over the course of the next year to come, they met over coffee and Abby became an important friend supporting Cing through life, work, friendships, and faith. Cing credits Abby for meeting Drew because she challenged her perspective on dating apps (thank you Hinge) & was voice of reason and wisdom in helping Cing navigate through early moments of dating Drew!

Maya is another Uptown girl!! Cing has so many sweet memories with Maya from walking to get bagels and coffee, participating in Maya's workout classes, to befriending foreign students together! Maya is someone who so easily radiates the love of Jesus in her friendships. She exudes a gentle and humble spirit and is someone who is quick to serve others!!

Madalynn has been such a gift from the Lord to Cing. They first met through Sarah while searching for roommates for graduate school, and though they lived in different houses, their shared love for the Lord kept them connected. Over the past year, Madalynn has been a steady source of encouragement, joining Cing in having Bible study on Friday mornings that grew into a weekly graduate students Bible study. These mornings gave Cing vital community and time in God’s Word during PA school. Madalynn is steadfast and unwavering in her commitment to Jesus and His people!

Brooke is Drew's cousin who is really more like sister! Cing has always wanted sisters growing up so she's is excited to have Brooke in her life! Brooke is a nurse practitioner and have connected over their shared love for the medical field and people. Cing is so thankful to be able to have Brooke be a part of this special day. Brooke has consistently been a welcoming and joyful presence and as a newlywed herself, Cing is excited to learn from her!
Grant Vickers

Grant is Drew's older brother and best friend. Ever since they were little kids they have been inseparable. Despite the four year age gap, Grant always let little bro tag along and made him feel like the most important person in the world. With their shared love of Jesus, sports, and coffee they could talk for hours. Grant is about to have have his third kid so Drew is loving the uncle life and is so proud of the amazing father that he is.
Kevin Shade

Kevin and Drew go all the way back to Worthington Elementary. They met on the playground in second grade and have been besties ever since. They have navigated a whole lot of life together - elementary, middle, high school, soccer teammates, and college roommates. In all of this time, their friendship grew and blossomed as they figured out their life and faith together. Kevin is a one-of-a-kind friend who has loved Drew so deeply and has been by his side through thick and thin.
Drew Brody

Drew squared became a duo in college. To avoid the confusion, let's call him Brody. Brody is one of those friends who knows how to love you so specifically and intentionally. He is loyal, thoughtful, an incredible question asker, and he's hilarious. They have so many core memories together - trips to New York City, a cruise to the Bahamas, countless tennis matches, and many late night convos. Brody has been one of the biggest cheerleaders and supporters as Drew and Cing have navigated dating life.
Andrew Winn

Andrew and Drew met in 2017 as groomsmen in their buddy's wedding. During the bachelor party, they had a deep conversation about life and faith that changed everything. After the wedding, they realized all of their friends were leaving them and getting married so they started hanging out every month. Time with these two is effortless and they can talk for hours about anything. Andrew is such a genuine friend who has supported, prayed for, and been there for Drew. Their friendship is a reminder that the Lord can bring two people together in unexpected ways.

Another Andrew! These two met their freshmen year of college and became roommates the next year. Andrew and Drew have bonded over deep conversations, fitness, the outdoors, and their love for a good adventure. Andrew is such a faithful friend and he has a knack for making the small things in life so memorable. Drew had the great privilege of officiating Andrew's wedding last year and is honored to have him up there on his big day.

These two met in 2020 when Jake came to UMD and starting coming to OneU. Now, fast forward five years and these two are co-workers and co-laborers for the gospel. Jake has been an incredible blessing and gift from the Lord as a staff member, but more importantly as a friend. Jake is a friend who loves sacrificially and he has an uncanny ability to bring grace and truth together. The two of them have navigated a lot of life together this past year as they have done ministry side by side, led a team to Uganda, and are even classmates at RTS.
Darren Kline

Darren and Drew first met working at a church summer camp in 2015. These two quickly hit it off and the Lord's timing was perfect! Drew was just starting OneU and Darren was just starting his freshmen year at UMD. Drew had the privilege of discipling Darren throughout his college years. These two lived together for a short time. And Darren joined the OneU staff team where he faithfully served for five years. Darren is such a sweet friend and has walked through so much life with Drew.

Khai is Cing's older brother. It has been such a joy for these two to get to know each other recently. Drew is excited to have more brothers in his life. Khai and Drew share a love for sports, especially soccer, so they are looking forward to getting out there and doing something active. Drew is honored to have Khai up by his side and cannot wait to be a part of his life forever.

Lian is Cing's younger brother. These two have loved getting to know each other in the past few months. Drew is excited to have not just one, but two more brothers in his life. Lian has been such a welcoming presence, he is so easy to talk to, and quite the jokester. Drew is looking forward to having Lian by his side and can't wait for the things ahead.
