The story of how Kevin catfished Cindy

Kevin's story: It all started in 1995, when Kevin Jin-Kun Pei was born in Brissie, QLD to Benyan Pei and Li-Ly Chang. Kevin grew up in Gladstone for 5 years before moving to the big city of Brisvegas to attend primary school at MacGregor Primary. He attended State High, where he graduated with an ATAR score of 99.8 and in his words "I could've been a doctor but I chose to be an engineer". After his 1st year of Engineering at UQ (University of Queensland), Kevin packed his bags and moved out of home to study the rest of his degree in Sydney. After graduating, Kevin found himself moving further south to Melbourne to start his grad job as a consultant Engineer in AECOM. Cindy's story: Born 9 months after Kevin to parents Loc Nguyen and Dung Nguyen in Melbourne, Cindy grew up blissfully as the only child up until the age of 10 years old. She blames the birth of her younger brother Henry for her stunted height (+ genetics) as mum took her out of swimming lessons to look after the new baby. Cindy discovered J&K-dramas, anime and k-pop in early high school and joked about debuting in Korean girl group with her MacRob High school friends under LKH (Lily Khanh Hoang) Entertainment. After graduating high school, Cindy went on to study Physiotherapy at Monash University and dedicated her next 3 years to travelling back and forth from St Albans to Frankston every week (for those out of state, that's a 2 hour public transport commute one way - try doing that 3 days a week for a term, with uni starting at 8am). Where we met: Tinder (Cindy swiped right on Kevin first!) First Impressions: Based off Kevin's profile, Cindy thought Kevin was a chill, laid back, happy and smiley guy (little did she know). Kev's first impression of Cindy: "She's short." First Date: Arbory Afloat (far too loud, Cindy's idea) in November 2018 Places we've visited together: South Island of New Zealand (2019), Japan (2019, 2024), Cairns (2022), Vietnam (2023), Taiwan (2023, 2024). Next destination: Europe???
