Cindy and I don’t have the usual "How We Met" story…. If we are going from the beginning, I think we'd seen and knew about each other since elementary, had mutual friends but hung out with different crowds. She would hang out with her magnet friends and I would be around nerds 🤓lol. I would always see her mom pick her up in a gold mini van while I walked home every day and thought, man she never offers a ride! The story of Josh and Cindy began to take place a couple years after high school. Cindy had posted on FB how wonderful traffic was on the 405 fwy. Of course the 405 is always 💩 so I made jokes about the post until I slid into her DM 😉. I asked her out for a casual dinner to catch up. Yup, our first date to Ihop at the Crenshaw mall (it was a date because I paid for the bill). It was so romantic ❤️ Since that IHOP date, I’m pretty sure she fell in love with me 😍 and realized that I was, indeed, her perfect match and I realized that she was the perfect balance of nice and sweet to my spice. P.S - Cindy told me that she had a crush on me since the 2nd grade so I’m pretty sure she knew I was the one since then.

This proposal was a long time coming.. We both knew this day would eventually come. But after Cindy spent several months continuously saying, “I don’t see a ring 💍 on it,” giving obvious 👀 hints and realizing she was not going to propose to me 😋, I decided to pop the question. I planned a weekend getaway to Temecula with a winery tour. We drank so much 🍷 that we slept through what was my planned proposal 🫣 The next morning, while in bed watching the hot air balloons from our room, I asked her to marry me. Of course I was sweaty, my heart was racing and she thought I was going to pass out but it was all worth it when she said yes! After 10 years and 6 months of dating (but who’s counting? 🫣), we are finally getting married and can’t wait to celebrate with you all!
