As most of you know, the story of how we met goes back 14 years, 6 months, and 10 days... on 11/15/2019. It all began back in 9th grade, Cindy knew of me, I had no idea who she was. It was an ordinary April afternoon in the year 2005, we were high school freshman taking a casual break between classes. I walked out of the restroom and I saw Cindy across the deck, it was immediate captivation, words can't explain what I felt when I saw her for the first time... Automatically, I asked one of my friends, "Who is that?!" which he then replied, "Dude that's Cindy...", all confused I asked, "Is she new???", to which he said, "She's been in our class since 5th grade." I made it my mission to try and get close to her in every possible moment. We were both in tennis at the time and I would miss the ball or hit the ball in her direction to try and get close to her. She would work in the school store and I would come by, more often than normal, to try to talk to her. Apparently something clicked. Little did we know what this would become. Neither one of us expected to make it past two weeks, let alone to have been together almost half of our lives.
