Our story began in the most unexpected place — working together at McDonald’s. For a while, we only knew of each other in passing, exchanging small smiles and quick hellos. He’d always ask, “Are you working tomorrow?” A simple question that slowly became the start of something much more. What began as friendly conversations soon turned into something deeper. Our first date was to see Storks , a movie about babies that we couldn’t help but laugh about later. It was lighthearted, sweet, and a little funny — just like us. As time went on, our connection grew effortlessly. One of our favorite early memories was traveling to Minnesota to visit my family. They welcomed him with open arms, and it felt like a glimpse into the beautiful future we were building together. The proposal happened in the most genuine way, no grand stage or spotlight, just the two of us at home in our living room.
