Yes, guests should plan to wear all white for Traditional Ghanaian Engagement on Friday and formal attire for the wedding and reception on Saturday. For men, a tuxedo isn't required, a suit and tie are acceptable. For women, a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail or tea-length dress, or a dressy pantsuit are appropriate. Traditional African clothing is also acceptable.
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to the time listed on your invitation. For the traditional ceremony Friday, October 25th, 12:45 pm is appropriate. For the wedding on Saturday, October 26th, 4:15 pm is appropriate.
We’ve made the decision to have an adults-only celebration. We understand this may require additional arrangements, and we truly appreciate your understanding and support. Only children in the wedding party and select family members of the bride and groom may be present at the traditional engagement, wedding and reception.
