From Cindy's POV: I was a regular at a bar in Oceanside...shout out to our bartenders from DV's. I would go nearly almost every weekend while I was living in TJ at the time since I would be in Oceanside (yeah I would come up from Mexico for the bar, crazy huh)…Anyway, I was a regular at DV's and would go because of the weekly beer pong tournaments they would have and to also see the friends and family from the bar. I was single at the time and having fun and focusing on myself since I had just ended a 6 year relationship... that was not going anywhere. Then I find myself in a situationship (we do not speak of this...that is all y'all are going to get). During that single/situationship, I meet Harrison at the bar, and we started talking and I flirted a little because I had liquid courage (I was a wee bit tipsy), but neither one of us asks for our numbers and we leave it at that. Then we reconnect at a New Year's Eve party where we continue the flirting and continue vibing, but still neither one of us asks for a number...Then I add him on Facebook just to have him as a friend. We message back and forth because a friend encouraged me to do so even though I was hesitating (thank you, Liz). I was hesitating because I had recently gotten heartbroken and wanted to stay single and focus on myself for a while, but then Harrison gave me his number after messaging back and forth until one day he asked to hang out. Little did I know it was a date... (I was fresh to the dating world again, okay...). Then one date turns into two...then three... and the rest...well...here we are 7 years later. That's basically it.
