Bar Harbor does not have an airport so we recommend flying into Bangor, Maine which is only a 30 minute drive from Bar Harbor
The reception and brunch are both taking place at the Bar Harbor Inn, but we know accommodations there can be pricey (we aren't even staying there!). Refer to our travel page for some recommendations. Festivities are taking place Saturday evening and Sunday morning so in order to maximize fun we recommend blocking off all of Saturday 9/26 and the morning of Sunday 9/27.
There is a nice FREE parking lot!
Reception attire is semi formal, preferably pastels, and brunch attire is more on the casual side, more business formal. For the rest of your stay, Maine in September is chilly and rainy so bring layers and outerwear that is rain proof.
No! Only names written on the invitation are the people that are invited. When you RSVP, all names relevant to your invited party should pop up. If someone name is not there, they are not invited! With that said, children are invited. Due to the venue, space is limited so we had to be picky, no hard feelings?
Since everyone will be traveling to the venue in some shape or form, for everyone's convenience please DO NOT bring a physical gift larger than an envelope with you. You can find on our registry page gifts that ship directly to us, or you can get in contact with one of us and arrange a gift exchange at a later date.
ASAP! Since the wedding is September 26, anyone not RSVP'd by September 12, WILL NOT be included in the guest count and will not be getting served.
