Our journey began in high school, where we first crossed paths. Although we were both from the same hometown, it was during high school that our friendship evolved into something deeper. We went from classmates, to me being Cindy's math tutor (she passed pre-cal btw! lol), to friends, to finding love. Our first “date” was a classic movie night in our hometown. With limited activity options in the town, we ended up watching two movies back-to-back. It wasn’t the most extravagant outing, but it was perfect for us and a memorable start to our story. As we grew older, we celebrated many milestones together: graduating high school, going on trips with family, and navigating the ups and downs of college side by side. After college, a job opportunity arose in Florida for Cindy, and I was thrilled to join her. A few months later, I made the move to Florida as well, and we continued to build our life together. The proposal was a special moment for us. We enjoyed a private boat ride in St. Augustine, FL, during sunset, with her mom and sister present to share this beautiful moment with us. The town was beautifully lit with Christmas lights (her favorite time of the year), and as we approached the dock with the sunset as our backdrop, it felt like the perfect setting. There were tears of joy and lots of happiness, and we later celebrated the moment with a lovely dinner in Downtown St. Augustine. We are excited to start our new lives together and can’t wait to spend the rest of our journey surrounded by the love and support of our family and friends.
