July is one of the hottest and most humid months in Cancun, so you should keep those factors in mind when visiting. The temperature from mid-July to mid-August is the hottest you’ll experience in Cancun throughout the year. Whereas the average humidity hovers between 60-97% and almost never falls below 50%. If you’re a fan of swimming in the ocean, you’ll find the waters delightfully warm. Despite the high temperatures, beaches are very enjoyable due to the ocean breezes.

It’s important to know that since you’re traveling out of the country, a valid passport might not be enough to allow you to board your flight. It might expire too soon to meet the foreign country’s requirements. You need to make sure your passport is valid for at least the day past your return date from Mexico. Having a passport that is valid for your date of travel isn’t enough – it has to be valid for your entire stay and through your return date to the US.
