It all began in Guernsey, Wyoming, population 809 at the time. Terry's hometown and the place where Cindy spent summers with her grandparents, aunt and uncle had a city park. A chance meeting at that park when we both were 13 and preparing for high school - one in Wyoming and the other 650 miles away in Missouri - led to memorable summers as sweethearts. As it usually does, however, life led us in different directions. Terry married, had a family and raised two wonderful daughters, Jami and Michelle. Cindy, while remaining single, adopted and raised her two beautiful daughters from Russia, Anya and Ally. Life eventually led us in a new direction - back to each other! Five years ago, we reconnected with a little help from Cindy's sister Julie, and our romance rekindled albeit long distance. After countless flights from Grand Junction, Colorado, to Kansas City, Terry popped the question in February (Cindy said yes, obviously!) and moved here in May. While we're no longer the newly minted teens of the summer we met, we are so thankful for our happily ever after!
