We're getting married!

Chris had seen me on the Bumble dating app which also had my Instagram name linked to it. He followed me and even sent me a message. I being new to Instagram didn't realize that I had a message request pending for over a month! One day I saw one of his stories that related to New York which I found funny and "hearted" it. Little did I know that when you do that, it sends it to him as a message! He quickly responded and asked what part of New York I was from and that's where it all began. I remember when he said he was from the Bronx, I quickly said "Oh no, you're trouble, I'm going to stay away from you" He laughed and said he wasn't like other guys from the Bronx, and I said yea right! I also remember him asking for my real name, I said "Cindeld but some of my friends call me by my middle name Mellanie" But not you, you can't call me that because we aren't friends. His response was "Dang tough crowd" After chatting back and forth we realized how much we had in common and eventually found out that we only lived three minutes away from each other yet had never bumped into each other in a not-so-big town like Spring Hill. Within that first week of getting to know each other he had already said that I was a "pain" Oddly enough, I didn't take offense to that, I found it daring and funny. He was straight up, I was straight up, and that led him to ask me out on our first date May 30th, 2020 to a Greek restaurant, and what a true gentleman he was. Time has passed and it has been filled with nothing but wonderful memories. He proposed in January 2023 and here we are getting married in May 2024
