Matron of Honor
Samantha has been my best friend for over 20 years and the first person I turn to for life advice and even the occasional marital wisdom. She embodies what it means to be a devoted wife, and she inspires me daily to show up for my future husband with that same level of love and commitment. She is also Ahsan’s godmother, a role she fulfills with unwavering loyalty and care. No matter the situation, Samantha is someone we can always rely on. She holds me accountable whether I’m right or wrong and I value that honesty more than anything. As a well‑organized event coordinator, she brings creativity and structure to every idea I have for the wedding. Her leadership is exactly what our large bridal party needs, and I feel completely confident knowing she’s guiding the group with the same heart and intention I would.
Maid of Honor
Jessica is my favorite little person; we have the kind of friendship that only makes sense to the two of us. For over 14 years, she’s been by my side, and somewhere along the way she stopped being “just a friend” and became a true sister to me. Out of all my friends, I’m pretty sure she’s Ahsan and Raphal’s favorite too and honestly, I can’t blame them. She helped plan our engagement and took her role very seriously, which is exactly why I trust her with anything that matters. Jessica does not play about me; we could not be talking, and I know she will always have my back through anything. Once the wedding planning started Jessica took the initiative to take me dress shopping and it was right then I began to realize that this is really happening, it was that very moment I felt like a true princess and I thank Jessica for that, she has truly earned her role as Maid of Honor, Life is simply more fun with Jessica around. She’s the yin to my yang, the chaos to my calm, and the one person who can match my energy no matter the moment. My bestie for lifey, forever and always.
Maid of Honor
Sharday is my best friend of 20 years, and she truly embodies the definition of loyalty. She’s the ideal human diary every secret I’ve ever shared with her has been locked away safely. Fun fact: Sharday actually sent me a picture of Raphal long before I ever met him and told me I should talk to him. At the time I was like, “noooo,” and now here we are, five years later, and he’s my soon‑to‑be husband. I would describe Sharday as a bubbly personality, her energy always lights up a room, Sharday has always been a deeply supportive friend, it's like "Cierra what do you need?" no questions asked type of thing. Sharday has been by my side through many heartbreaks so to finally be here now in love I am excited for her to join this happily ever after phase of my love life. Sharday always tells me how much of a great wife I will be and how well me and Raphal fit together, she speaks life into our union at all times. When I'm she listens without judgment and helps me find the good in any situation. She’s also incredibly protective of me; when she’s around, I know I’m covered, supported, and safe.
Bridesmaid
Danielle aka the City GOAT — is truly the blueprint. She’s a real‑deal entrepreneur and a role model to so many. Whenever I need motivation or just want to feel good about myself, she’s the first person I call. She speaks life into me every single time and does it with zero judgment. When it comes to Raphael and me, Dani has been nothing but supportive. She constantly reminds me of the amazing wife I’m going to be and encourages me to explore new endeavors with confidence. She’s the type of bestie every girl needs — the one who thinks outside the box when it comes to business, gifts, and new experiences. She pushes me to dream bigger and go harder. Her energy is unmatched. She’s a positive spirit who always shows up for the people she loves. And with a bridal party this big, trust me, you definitely want a Dani on the team to keep the peace lol.
Bridesmaid
Gianna is my ride‑or‑die sister. She’s the one I can always count on, and when I’m doing the absolute most, she’s the first to tell me to calm down with love, of course. Our bond is hard to explain; she just gets me. She understands my personality better than anyone, which is probably why we’ve never had a fallout. She’s the mother of my godson, Deante, and a beautiful wife to her husband. Gianna gives me real marital advice — the kind that helps me see both the pros and the cons, reminding me that every union has good days and bad ones, but the key is to keep fighting for each other. She’s also my business bestie. When I need support, motivation, or someone who’s ready to chase the bag with me, she’s the girl I’m calling. Gianna is courageous, inspiring, and constantly pushes me to believe in myself and go after my dreams. Gianna is my person, and I truly couldn’t imagine walking into this day without her by my side.
Bridesmaid
Myah is my little cousin, but we grew up more like sisters, we even shared the same bedroom at one point. Over the years, our bond has only gotten stronger. She’s become the first person I call on my way to work and the first person I call when I’m heading home. Now, Myah may not be the most punctual person, but she will always come through lol. She’s someone you can trust completely and someone who always has my best interest at heart. I’d describe Myah as quiet and shy at first, but once you get to know her, she’s outgoing, fun, and always thinking of new ways to have a good time. She brings a light, playful energy wherever she goes, and I’m so grateful to have her by my side.
Bridesmaid
Monet is my cousin, and when we were kids, we were inseparable. Born the same year, we used to pretend we were sisters — and honestly, it felt true. She was my very first best friend. We went to middle school together, then high school, and even though adulthood created some distance at times, when it’s time to show up for each other, there’s never a question. Monet has shown me that family is forever. When Raphael and I got engaged, her face was one of the first I remember seeing — capturing beautiful photos and videos of us with so much love and excitement. She has this cool, rich‑auntie aura that’s unmatched. Monet walks into a room with style, grace, and confidence. She doesn’t drink or smoke, but when it’s time to turn up, she’s bouncing around and instantly becomes the life of the party. I still laugh thinking about how, as teenagers, she used to say, “I don’t need anything to be turnt up — I have a natural high!” Monet is smooth, outgoing, and effortlessly fun. She brings the perfect balance to the bridal party, and I’m so grateful to have her energy with us on this journey.
Bridesmaid
Courtnie is my Bossfriend of 20 years. I call her my Boss Friend because whenever we step out, we’re always on the same wavelength earning degrees, buying jewelry, upgrading cars and homes, flying out the country… everything we do together just exudes BOSS energy. I’d describe Courtnie as a successful, independent woman who loves hard just like me. Out of all my friends, she’s the one who has her own separate relationship with both Raphal and me. She and Raphal had a sister‑brother bond long before he and I ever got together, since she once dated his younger brother. Because she knows us both personally, she’s been incredibly supportive of our relationship and constantly pours positive affirmations into our union. Courtnie has always shown up for me. She’s a solid, dependable friend, and I love hanging out with her because we have the best time dancing, yelling the lyrics, and just vibing. When Courtnie is around, I already know the energy is going to be high and the night is going to be unforgettable.
Bridesmaid
Valerie is my most recent friend, but from the moment we met at work in 2019, she instantly became like a little sister to me. She’s beautiful, smart, a go‑getter, and such a supportive friend she reminds me so much of myself. We’ve never had a falling out, mainly because when I go on a rant, she just ignores me ahahaha. Valerie is the lil sis I can always depend on. Anytime I need something, she does whatever she can to help. And yes, she’s always late, but she’s still going to show up lol. When I was pregnant, she was the one at work listening to me vent about Raphal, laughing with me at all the crazy stories, and being my shoulder to cry on when I needed it. She’s that little sister you can trust, talk to, and feel safe being vulnerable with. Valerie is positive, non‑problematic, and genuinely loving. She supports my union wholeheartedly and will be a great addition to the wedding party always ready to help the ladies in any way she’s needed.
Best Man
Andron and Raphal share a brotherhood over two decades strong— the kind of friendship people hope to find in a lifetime. Their loyalty to one another is unwavering. Andron once told Cierra that he trusts Raphal with his life, a testament to the bond they’ve built. He’s also the friend who introduced Cierra and Raphal, and even during the moments when the couple hit rough patches, Andron never hesitated to stand by Raphal while still encouraging him to fight for his family. With 15 years of marriage under his belt, Andron knows what commitment truly looks like and what it takes to show up for the people you love. There is no better person to stand beside Raphal on this special day. Andron is the definition of a best man—steadfast, loyal, and a living example of what partnership and brotherhood mean.
Groomsman
Karl, I truly recognize what an incredible friend you've been. You've always had my back through thick and thin, and I can't thank you enough for that. Your ability to challenge me and see my potential has pushed me to be better, even if you still can't beat me in chess lol just saying! Having you as part of the wedding party has been awesome. Your organization and ideas have made this whole process a lot smoother, and I appreciate the effort you've put in. It means a lot to have a brotherhood like ours
Groomsman
De’Andre—better known as Cap—you’ve been an incredible friend and a true supporter throughout my journey. You were the one who pushed me to launch Oso Delicious Desserts, and you even proved it by being my very first order. Your support has never wavered, and it’s meant more to me than you know. You constantly challenge me to grow, to level up, and to believe in myself. That’s why I don’t just see you as a friend—you’re family. I’m grateful for everything you’ve done, from the big moments to the small things, like setting up the Ahsan TV app for me for free (I still owe you for that). I truly appreciate you, and just know I’ll always be there to support whatever you choose to pursue in life.
Groomsman
Danny, from day one you’ve been a steady presence in my life. We’ve always connected through the things we love—family, basketball, and staying fresh. You know we were always the best dressed. We’ve built countless memories and a bond that can’t be broken. You’ve always been like a big brother to me, making sure I was good no matter what was going on. Every time we link up, it’s nothing but realness and that same magic we’ve had since the beginning. I appreciate you more than words can say. Keep shining, my brother. I’m honored to walk down the aisle with you by my side, and just know I’ll always support you 100 percent in everything you do.
Groomsman
Rell may be the bride’s best friend, but fate had it that he also grew up in the same neighborhood as Raphal—back when they were all playing ball together. Rell and Cierra have been inseparable since 2014, sharing a bond that feels more like brother and sister than anything else. Whenever Cierra needs honest advice from a male perspective, Rell is the first person she calls. He shows up for every major moment in her life and has become an amazing uncle to Ahsan. From the very beginning, Rell has supported Cierra and Raphal’s relationship, always reminding her that Raphal was a good man and praising the family they were building together. Rell’s energy is unmatched—smooth, positive, and grounded—yet he knows how to turn up with the people he loves. His loyalty to both the bride and groom, paired with the joy he brings to every room, makes him the perfect addition to the wedding party.
Groomsman
Juice—better known as Cocky—is one of Cierra’s closest friends, and over the years he’s become family to me as well. He and Cierra have been best friends since 2014, and from the start, he’s been her little big brother and her protector. She calls him Cocky because he’s always been the big one, the one who stood by her like her own personal bodyguard. They’re both Aries, so they understand each other on a different level. He’s the male version of her—never afraid to call her out when she’s wrong, always looking out for her with genuine love. When we got engaged, Cocky was truly happy for us. Out of everyone, he always believed I was the right man for her, and that meant a lot because he’s someone whose opinion she trusts deeply. He’s also her “Bossfriend,” because even when he tries to stay humble, he stays popping it lowkey—and she loves that about him. As for me and Anton, our bond is still growing, but I already know we’ll get along because we both value realness and loyalty. I couldn’t imagine this day without him standing with us. It meant a lot to me to ask him to be a groomsman—not just because of his love for Cierra, but because of the respect and connection we’re building as men.
Groomsman
Willie, my cousin more like a brother, it's an honor to have you standing beside me on one of the biggest days of my life and I want to thank you for that.
Groomsman
Anthony—better known as Skant Ant—has been my guy since day one, a real friend in every sense. Our moms grew up together, so it was only right our paths crossed. I’ve always looked at him as a brother. I still remember you riding around in that Impala back in the day—man, couldn’t nobody tell you nothing. The good old days. We’ve been through a lot together, both the highs and the lows. You’ve seen my whole journey firsthand and watched me grow from a boy into the man I am today. Now here we are, both with sons the same age, getting to watch them grow up side by side. That’s a blessing I don’t take for granted. I wouldn’t ask for anything more.
