It all began at the Olive Garden where they worked alongside each other for many years, but little did they know the relationships they were in at the time were not meant to be. One summer night in 2021 they were invited to go out for drinks after work with some friends and at first Keith was a little skeptical as he always is but that soon changed with some liquid courage. The small talk started to turn into the desire to get to know more about each other and by the next day phone numbers were exchanged. The next thing you know, 3 years passed, and Keith had the vision of spending the rest of his life with Cierra, but he knew there was still work to be done. He knew the next step would be to ask Cierra’s father Tod for his blessing to marry his daughter. Keith planned to ask Tod one afternoon when they were out on the lake fishing and with a smile on his face Tod shared his gratitude and gave Keith his blessing.

Keith began to contemplate how to propose. He thought of a variety of ways to ask, but was unsure. Keith then decided to ask Cierra’s mom for advice and it didn’t take long from there. Keith and Cierra took a trip up to the cabin for the fourth of July like they did every year. Little did Cierra know this time it was going to be more than just a 4th of July celebration. The day after we celebrated the 4th of July we decided to get family pictures. They had then planned to go and get ice cream as Cierra could never go a day without ice cream. Keith and Cierra contemplated which ice cream to share. As they were looking through options, Cierra noticed Keith began to pace. After choosing Keith asked Cierra to go pay for the ice cream. After paying, Cierra came back and Keith said let’s go find a place to eat outside. They then went outside to where a line of benches in all sizes lined the building. Keith found a bench low to the ground that would be perfect to get on one knee by. As Cierra sat down she turned around and Keith was on one knee. Cierra first thought “oh my gosh he is proposing but why is he holding an ice cream cone.” They sat down together on the bench and Keith quickly realized that Cierra had not seen the ring. Keith pointed to the ice cream cone and Cierra noticed this was not an ordinary ice cream cone. At that moment, full of excitement she said YES and they were officially engaged! It didn’t take long from there for them to decide on 5/5/2025 as both of their favorite numbers as you could guess is 5.
