We're getting married!

Neither of us remember the exact day we met, but it was sometime in middle school orchestra. We became friends through musicals at our high school. After knowing each other for many years, we realized there was something special between us during our production of Shrek the Musical. We both fell in love hard and fast! The rest is history!

Jonathan and I were at Jonathan's parents house in Arcadia, Michigan. Jonathan told me he had made reservations for a nice dinner in Frankfort. We both got dressed up and headed out. On the way, Jonathan pulled off at Inspiration Point Scenic Lookout. He thought it would be nice to walk up to the top to see the view of the lake. I was not super thrilled to walk up all of those steps after an excruciating hike we had taken earlier in the day, but I went along. Jonny was acting extremely weird the entire way up, he wouldn't let me stand on the right side of him and had the most intense look on his face. As we approached the top, I spotted my three best friends sitting on a bench. I asked Jonny what was going on and he got down on his knee and proposed! I practically tackled him in a hug and with tears in my eyes said yes! We all took pictures and talked with our friends about how amazing it was that they drove the 6 hours to surprise me. Jonny confessed there was no dinner and the cookout his family had been setting up before we left was for us. On the way back to the house, I tried many times to call my mom to tell her the amazing news, but she wouldn't answer. She sent a text that she was busy and would call later. I kept trying to call saying it was VERY important, but to no avail. As we walked into the house, my mom and dad were also there to surprise me!
