Despite being Darrius’ younger brother, Jaylen has always been over protective and watched out for Darrius like an older brother. Darrius is very appreciative of his brother and honestly believes that he would not be where he is without him.

Bryce is Darrius’ youngest brother and similar to Jaylen, Darrius sees Bryce as he would a son. Bryce also has always been protective of Darrius and has always been willing to do anything to help him and make sure that with him, all is well. Darrius’ bond with his younger brothers is the closest bond that he has and is one he values more than anything.

Rickey and Darrius have been friends, roommates, worked on projects together, and many other ventures together. The two of them have grown up together, learned together, and matured together. Rickey brings out the dreams and goals that Darrius sometimes neglects due to his day to day routine. Rickey reminds Darrius of his ultimate goals and pushes him to follow the things he is passionate about.

Anthony & Darrius met in the fall of 2007 and became close friends in the spring of 2008. Although they only spent two years at the same university, the two of them continued to maintain their friendship and brotherhood. Anthony has always served as a confidant for Darrius and someone Darrius could be open and transparent with about life situations and challenges. Anthony to this day, provides Darrius advice and direction when he needs it most.

Jamel and Darrius have known each other since the spring of 2008 at Clark Atlanta University. The two of them became like brothers. The more they were around each other, the more they learned how much they had in common. Jamel has always been one to push Darrius to be better, strive for more, and has always looked out for his best interest. Darrius values Jamel as a key person in his life. Jamel has helped him through a lot. He has been there for him for every major step in his life.

Desmond and Darrius met in 2007 at Clark Atlanta University, and the two of them have been close friends since. They do not only consider themselves friends, but brothers. Desmond has always been one to push Darrius out of his comfort zone and challenge him to live a little. He has always been one to tell Darrius the truth pertaining to life situations.

Brandon has always been a voice of reason in Darrius life. He challenges Darrius to view things from a different perspective and to weigh everything before acting on something. The two of them met and have been good friends since 2008, worked together, been apart of a radio show together, as well as other endeavors. One of the biggest lessons that Darrius pulled from Brandon was to always ‘pay attention to the small things.’
