Our story doesn’t start in the most traditional way, and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it ours. In 2021, Dylan moved Ciera into her townhome. At the time, they didn’t really hang out, but their paths would cross every year at her parents’ annual Halloween party. Year after year, they would see each other there, always in the same place at the same time, but somehow never quite connecting. That all changed in 2023. At that year’s Halloween party, Ciera finally cornered Dylan and asked him the question she’d been wondering for years — why did he always avoid her at the parties? His answer was simple and unexpected: he told her she was the most gorgeous girl he had ever seen. From that moment on, everything changed. They started dating soon after, and it didn’t take long for them to realize they didn’t want to do life apart anymore. Before long, they moved in together and started building a life side by side. By Summer 2024, they had already started the process of buying a home together — another big step in their not-so-traditional, but perfectly them, timeline. Then came July 2024. Dylan took Ciera to Dallas for the Morgan Wallen concert, tickets he had gotten her for her birthday. While Ciera was getting ready for the concert, Dylan was busy setting up something much more important. He covered the ground in daisies, and when Ciera walked out of the restroom, she found Dylan waiting for her on one knee. And of course, she said yes! Nothing about their relationship has been traditional, and that’s exactly why this wedding isn’t traditional either. Their story has never been about doing things the way everyone else does — it’s been about doing what feels right, what feels like them, and choosing each other every step of the way.
