forever and always

Ciera and Colten became to be in the most rom-com way possible: working at miserable jobs trying to get themselves through college and having a great aversion to one another. Ciera, being Colten's boss at the time, didn't give him the time of day and attempted to take bets with their coworkers on when he would throw in the towel. Colten spent most of his time mocking Ciera and her "Yankee ways" and bonding with those same coworkers over how much they hated sharing shifts with her. Then, at a coworker's house party, they spent the evening getting to know each other and realized maybe they could call a truce and become friends. A year later they were officially dating.

Colten did a phenomenal job of planning everything in secret. Ciera had no idea what was going on until she walked in! He called some of their closest friends to be present, had both sides of the families on FaceTime, and even managed to get their favorite photographer to be there! Family worked all day to keep Ciera distracted and out of the house (and picture ready) while their best friends were setting up for the proposal in the backyard. Colten popped the question, they popped the champagne, and we celebrated all night long!
