We met at work and had known each other for a few years before anything romantic happened. I’d see Mike around the Y every now and then and had definitely developed a little work crush on him. I thought he was so cute and would look for any excuse to talk to him...including becoming very interested in fishing, despite never having caught a fish in my life and barely understanding anything he was saying. Thankfully, Mike was crushing on me too. Then, about three years ago, he asked me to get wings from "The Swamp" (a restaurant known for it's wings but is literally in a swamp). Not only were they some of the best wings we’ve ever had, but that lunch turned into the start of our story. We’ve been together ever since, balancing each other out perfectly. And shoutout to The Swamp for bringing us together <3
