We're getting married!

Though Ricardo and Cielo had spent years at the same high school and shared many mutual friends, their paths never really crossed until senior year. After losing access to his original Snapchat account, Ricardo created a new one. Among the suggested friends was Cielo, and with so many mutual connections, he decided to add her. To his surprise, she added him back. A few days later, Ricardo posted something funny, and Cielo messaged him about it. Their shared sense of humor sparked a conversation that neither of them expected. They quickly found themselves spending all their time together — texting, hanging out outside of school, and, before long, spending the rest of senior year together. It was clear they enjoyed each other’s company more and more. Ricardo’s kindness and the way they easily laughed together made Cielo look forward to their chats, and it didn’t take long for both of them to realize something real was starting to form. On October 18, 2018, one month from that first message, Ricardo asked Cielo to be his girlfriend. She said yes — and now, over six years later, here they are, excited to take the next step and begin this new chapter as husband and wife.
