Are children invited to this event?

Answer

As much as we love children, especially your children, we have chosen for this to be an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this as a date night to relax, socialize, and party the night away. Our hopes are that with this advance notice, you are still able to share our big day with us and will enjoy having the day/evening off! Thank you for understanding!

Will there be transportation between the hotel and venue?

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will be held at The Barn at Timber Pointe in Hawthorn Woods, IL. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside (weather permitting). The reception will be held indoors.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is a parking lot available. Cars can be parked overnight until 10AM the next day.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the venue between no earlier than 4:00pm. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. Thank you!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an “unplugged” ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones and devices be silenced or turned off and put away. We have hired professional photographers to capture this special day, and we would like to avoid their shots having phones in them. After the ceremony is over, please feel free to take as many photos as you would like. This is much encouraged as we would love to see our celebration from your perspective!
