Desert Ridge Marketplace
We went to the Barrio Queen here at Desert Ridge for our first date! However, we would not suggest going to Barrio Queen as there are so many better restaurants for Mexican food around the valley (LOL). One place we would highly suggest is Sid's Garage! The burgers are massive, drinks are fun, and we love the 90's grunge playlist they have!
OdySea Aquarium
We went here for Cidney's 24th birthday and it was a blast! Definitely check out the bathrooms before heading into the aquarium. Instead of a mirror over the sinks it's a view into the shark tank! There are otters, sting ray petting stations, and a fun, mini outdoor mall with multiple restaurants and shops. Our favorite part about this aquarium was the carousel aquarium experience!
Potbelly
I would be in so much trouble if I didn't try to get the entire de la Cruz side to try Potbelly! Justin worked here many moons ago and has been hooked on these delicious sandwiches ever since. It's even his restaurant of choice for most of our date nights! The sandwiches are delicious and the Zapp's Voodoo chips are the perfect pairing!
Sedona
Sedona was our first day-trip together! It was my idea to go to Sedona and hike down the Vista Huckaby Trail for Justin's birthday... before I learned that he HATES hiking! (oops) It's a really easy and short hike, but the view at the start is breathtaking, plus getting to explore around the creek is super fun too! After the hike we had some amazing margaritas and Mexican food at Oaxaca Restaurant in Sedona's main tourist strip off the 89!
