FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP by October 25th. If we do not receive a response by the deadline, you will be marked as not attending, as we have to give a final guest count a couple months ahead for our catering menu and seat count. We would also like everyone to be able to book ahead of time! We will be sending reminders if need be and also send "missed your RSVP" for those who did not answer in time!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We kindly ask our guests to dress in black-tie or evening formal (no jeans or polos, no sneakers or sandals. Please wear dress shoes, flats or heels for ladies. No hats) As always, please refrain from wearing colors traditionally reserved for brides, i.e., white, ivory, and cream. Please also refrain from wearing dark green!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to constraints on space and resources, we've had to limit our guest list, we kindly ask our guests only to bring those mentioned on their invitation. We hope you'll still be able to join us and celebrate this special day.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We kindly ask that our guests please turn off their phones during the ceremony, as phones are not allowed due to our decision of an unplugged ceremony to fully immerse everyone in the moment. You are more than welcome to take pictures before the ceremony starts, and after the ceremony is over. We will have professional photos to share afterward! Thank you for understanding. We also ask that our guests not post about the wedding until we have!

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Yes, of course. We have it linked in the "Registry" tab on our website. While gifts are not expected, they are greatly appreciated! If you would prefer to donate towards our honeymoon or house fund, both are listed on our registry!

Question

Are kids allowed to attend the wedding?

Answer

Yes absolutely! We kindly ask our guests to make sure they are watching their children throughout the event. There is a playground nearby our ceremony spot if you get there early. We also would like our guests to know that we will be playing adult music only at the reception. We kindly ask that parents refrain from requesting children's music.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The reception is indoors, the ceremony is outdoors with a gravel ground, if weather permits. If we must do the ceremony indoors, the venue is an open-air space with an old wood floor. Please keep this in mind with our dress code. February in Florida can get cooler at night and is a good general temperature during the day. Usually, it is mid to high 70s.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, our venue has a full bar and it will be a cash bar. Please drink responsibly.

Question

How will out of town guests find lodging?

Answer

You are more than welcome to stay where you would like. There are multiple hotels near both venues. All spaces are within a 4-6 minute drive from each other. We highly recommend finding accommodations months in advance to make sure you have a place to stay if you want to be close. This time of year is football season at UF which is right around the corner from our venue. This is another reason we are sending invitations so far in advance.

Question

If I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you or the groom?

Answer

You can contact me at 720-645-7110, I will answer questions at any point between 9 am EST and 7 pm EST. We kindly ask that you direct all questions to me (the Bride) and both myself and Collin will discuss and promptly answer your questions!
