Maid of Honor
Although Carly and Chrissy hadn't met until they became East Quad neighbors in 2010, you would never have known it. By the end of welcome week they had enough belly laugh inside jokes to last a lifetime. A shared love of all things everyone else hates (High School Musical, Taylor Swift, Applebees wings) continues to be a bond against the world. Doing nothing, together, is the very best place to be.
Best Man
You couldn't ask for a better brother or best man. Pete and Andy did just about everything together growing up. Most of their childhood was spent in competition with one another, be it sports, board games, or who could eat the most Lucky Charms before the box ran out. And while just about everything ended in a wrestling match, as brothers are wont to do, they remain as close as can be.
Bridesmaid
Since costarring in "Too Much Noise" in 1999 (evidence above) Kate and Chrissy have been confusing others from the back with their matching frames, hair, and Ford Focus brigades. The phrase "You keep me safe, I'll keep you wild," comes to mind, with each acting as the others' greatest strength whenever the time calls. There's something about friends from always that make you feel like home.
Groomsman
Pete and Ted grew up down the street from each other and met in Mrs. Hendin's morning kindergarten class at Roosevelt Elementary School. In a fictitious kindergarten old west play, with parents and family assembled, the teacher asked if anyone had hunted anything that started with a "B," to which a five-year-old Ted responded, "I got a beer can." (There's a home video to prove it.) They've been friends ever since.
Bridesmaid
Two souls cut from the same cloth, Amanda and Chrissy could likely spend a million hours alternating between yoga classes, Bravo marathons, happy hours- and be more than content. Who knew landing in the same freshman year English class would lead to a lifetime of love. Everyone needs friends that truly feel like family and with whom you can share a whole conversation with just a glance.
Groomsman
Pat has been a constant in Pete's life since they met during their freshman year at Ferndale High School, maintaining both their close friendship and patented handshake along the way. The Pride of 7 Mile, as he's known to many, lived with Pete during grad school and was the purrfect housemate. He's the life of any party and source of many gut-busting comedic moments in Pete's life.
Bridesmaid
Paired randomly to be East Quad roommates in the Fall of 2010 turned out to be one of the life's best little surprises. Chrissy started off their interactions insisting that a TV in the dorm room isn't necessary and that welcome week should be spent not going out. From this moment on a grand tradition of Caroline being right, and making life way more fun, began. Everyone should be so lucky to share 130 square feet with someone so brilliant, hard-working, and loyal.
Groomsman
For four straight years Jon and Pete lived together in the Michigan Evans Scholar House, and Room 110's former occupants are now the best of friends. Raspberry, as he prefers to be called, has been a confidant to Pete since their earliest college days, from diligently studying together in the library to lightning-quick rounds of golf together. But most fatefully, Jon was there the night Pete met Chrissy, adding to some of the magic that night.
