Flight
You have three airports you can fly into in order to get to Zielona Góra. Please note all of the flight details provided are for from Dublin Airport. Option 1 [Most Convenient] - Poznań Airline: Ryanair Dates: Friday 29.08.2025 (07:50am) - Monday 01.09.2025 (14:55pm) Getting to Zielona Góra: If you get these flights, a bus has been organised to pick you up from the airport & bring you to the hotel on arrival and return you back to the airport for your departure flight. Option 2: Wrocław Airline: Ryanair Dates: Friday 29.08.2025 (20:10pm) - Monday 01.09.2025 (23:00pm) Getting to Zielona Góra: Wrocław is a 2 hour (187km) drive to Zielona Góra therefore this option is most suitable if you hire a rental car to drive to the destination. There is a train that goes between the two cities, however, they finish running before this flight gets in. You would need to wait until the first train at 4am & arrange your own hotel for the night as the airport is not open 24hrs. Option 3: Berlin Getting to Zielona Góra: Berlin airport is 2hrs (200km) from Zielona Góra. There are multiple flight options available to you and a train that goes directly to the city. You also have an option of hiring a rental car and driving. Please be aware there may be delays at the boarder and you will require your passports to cross into Poland. If you have any questions or need help booking your flights, please let us know.

Poland is a part of the European Union & part of the Schengen Zone - you will need your in date Passport to enter the country. Poland does not use the Euro - you will be paying in Polish złoty. Although, everywhere accepts card payments we would recommend you keep some Polish złoty on hand for emergencies. Polish is the official language - you still have time to download Duolingo to learn the basics! We encourage you (where possible) to arrive early or extend your stay to explore all the beauty that Poland has to offer. If you wish to do so, feel free to contact us for recommendations on places to visit, sights to see and how to get around.
