Airports

There are a variety of airports to fly into that will get you to La Crosse. The La Crosse airport (LSE) is the closest but only services to and from Chicago via American. The Rochester, MN Airport (RST) is about an hour drive to downtown La Crosse. It services flights from Chicago and Minneapolis.

The Madison, WI airport (MSN) and is about a 2 hour drive from downtown La Crosse and services a variety of major cities and airlines. The Minneapolis airport (MSP) has the most options for you. It is about a 2.5 hour drive to La Crosse.

Travel Note

Shuttle from Airports

If you choose to fly into MSP or RSN and do not want to rent a car, there is a a shuttle that operates between both airports and La Crosse. Currently, fares are $68 one way. Please see the link below for more information

Train

Amtrack to La Crosse

To our friends in Chicagoland, an Amtrack line runs from Union Station to La Crosse. It departs twice a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. It takes about 5 hours and will allow you to kick up your feet!
