Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony? NO PHONES OR CAMERAS! We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means all phones and cameras are put away and turned to off/silent. We have hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture the most important moments of our lives and we'd hate to have a person's phone or camera blocking that moment for our photographer to capture. Feel free to take as many photos as you want at cocktail hour or the reception!

Can I bring a date / plus one? Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests that are included on your invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be listed when you rsvp on our website!

Are kids invited? We hope you understand that our wedding will be kid free besides those participating in the wedding. We want our guest to let loose and have a good time at our reception, so hire a sitter and come party! *If your child is not listed on the invitation, or does not show up on the rsvp on our website, they are not invited*

What if I don't rsvp by the deadline?

What if I don't RSVP by the deadline? If we do not receive an RSVP back from you by our October 9th deadline, you will be marked "not attending". The reason for this being that we must provide accurate guest counts to all of our vendors within a timely manner.

Are there any colors we should avoid wearing?

Are there any colors we should avoid wearing? We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, and creams. We also ask that you avoid wearing olive green, as that is the color bridesmaids will be wearing.

How should I dress? We are asking our guest to dress semi-formal (black tie optional). Here is the google description for semi-formal dress: For men, this typically includes a dark suit or tuxedo for formal attire, while semi-formal attire might entail a suit and tie or a dress shirt with dress pants. For women, formal attire could involve a long gown or elegant cocktail dress, while semi-formal attire might consist of a chic cocktail dress or a dressy skirt and top ensemble.

Where should I park?

Where should I park? There will be a designated parking area on the field where the wedding is located. We highly encourage car pooling to limit the amount of cars parked on the property. If for any reason you need to take an Uber after the wedding, you may leave your car and pick it up the next day! Please try to park where everyone can get out easily after the wedding.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors? Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be completely outdoors while the reception will be under a tent with open walls. Please keep an eye on the weather and dress accordingly!

Will there be food and alcohol? Food will be served buffet style during our reception! We will be having an open bar as long as supply lasts. This will include beer, wine, and two cocktail options that can be turned into mock-tails. There will also be water and sweet/unsweet tea available!
