WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

Ciara and Liam met the modern way: by swiping right on Hinge! They began talking in March of 2020 and due to COVID-19, they spent the first few weeks texting and having facetime dates while watching movies together. After a few weeks, they decided to ditch the love is blind scenario, bypass the Covid restrictions and finally meet in person. Their first date involved going for a walk at a local park, eating Thai take out at a picnic table and talking for hours! As a result, they did not realize they had stayed at the park past closing time and when they tried to exit, the gate to the parking lot was locked. Ciara insisted that because she was a crime show aficionado that she could pick the lock with a bobby pin (obviously that plan failed!) Liam eventually took charge and called 911! It goes without saying that the police officer who came to help them was not too thrilled, but it made for an amazing first date memory! That first date solidified their connection and after many more, it was clear that they were crazy about each other. Over the last few years, Ciara and Liam have enjoyed going on long walks along the beautiful hiking trails of New England, vacationing in New York and Vermont with friends, sharing their first place together and becoming canine parents to their rescue dog, Mac. Liam has graciously accepted that he will have to watch every murder documentary known to man while Ciara has agreed to learning the rules of Jiujitsu! With the help of their two amazing friends, Cat and Dylan, Liam pulled off a surprise romantic proposal on January 20, 2022, at the exact same picnic table where they had their first date (swoon!). They can't wait to celebrate with you at their wedding celebration in October!
