We “dated” for about two seconds in 7th grade — the kind of serious middle school romance you can only expect from 12-year-olds. Life took us separate ways for many years, but fate clearly wasn’t finished with us. When we reconnected as adults, it felt effortless — like no time had passed, except now the timing was right. That tiny spark from middle school grew into the love of our lives, from now until forever. Since then, we’ve been making memories — from cozy Christmases with family to adventures big and small. One of the most special has been our trip to Glacier National Park in Montana, where, in front of beautiful Lake McDonald, he proposed and said, “Words can’t express how much I love you, but I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to find them.” And the truth is, words can’t fully capture how much I love him either — but I know I get to spend forever showing him.
