Under *no circumstances*, should anyone attending the wedding ceremony be in the following colors: White, off white, egg shelf, light grey, blush, light pink, pink, or anything similar. *please see FAQ about costumes also* **In the unlikely event a member of the wedding party finds that a guests attire to be too similar in color or style to that of the bride or groom, they have been given permission by the groom and bride to ask said guest to change, leave, or help the guest dye said attire to more of a red wine “color.”**
Absolutely! We do ask that you wait until after the ceremony to change or apply any costume makeup. Children are especially encouraged to show off their costumes for this Halloween! Our photographer has special permission to take pictures of kiddos in costume that I can pass along to the parents if they wish. **Costumes are not required** ***NO costume worn by anyone over the age of 10 should be white or pink in color***
The bridal party will be in shades of purple, the grooms party will be in greens.
It is outdoors, and weather is unpredictable in Tennessee on any day, but especially so during the fall so plan accordingly. I will update a week or so before the wedding, but for reference, last year on Halloween it got down in the low 30s, and a day or 2 before it was in the 80s, so it’s almost impossible to guess until we get closer to the dates. *the reception hall will be open air, but can be closed if needed. **There are a few patio heaters that can be used if needed. ***The fire pit will be lit no matter the temperature. ((S’mores!!))
This isn’t the beginning of our fairy tail, so through the begging chapters of our story we have acquired most everything we could need for our home. What we have not been able to acquire though are experiences, so lovingly we ask for gifts to go towards our adventures to come as newly weds and young parents (who are wanting another child in the next year or two). Any monetary donation towards our family moon at Walt Disney World in November will be greatly appreciated! Disney World Gift Cards can also be used for reservations, resorts, and/or in the parks! We also want to build a home in a few years, so anything saved on the honeymoon will go towards our savings to build our future home. If you would still prefer a physical gift, there are items in our Zola and Amazon registry.
