Flight
Florence Airport is the closest airport, located approximately 15 minutes outside of the city center of Florence. Car rental and taxis are available at the airport. Pisa International Airport (PSA) is about an hour drive from Florence. Rome Fiumicino (FCO) is about a 3.5 hour drive, or about a 2.5 hour train ride from Florence.
Train
If you’re planning to fly into Rome (or spend some time there before or after the wedding), it is very easy to take a train into Florence. Italo and Trenitalia run trains there throughout the day (make sure to get the express train as it’s a lot quicker!). Hotel

House Or Rental
Florence has many great airbnb options available throughout the city. Regarding location, if you wanted to get something right near the wedding festivities (Friday evening apertivo, church, and location for bus pickup/drop off), look for something near Piazza Ognissanti. However, much of Florence is in walking distance so you have many neighborhoods to choose from!
