Giovanna and Daniel’s journey began back in 2013 at Archbishop McCarthy High School. They crossed paths as students, but it wasn’t until a meaningful mission trip to Costa Rica in 2017 that their friendship truly began to grow. That trip planted a seed — one that neither of them realized would bloom years later. As college took them in different directions, they drifted apart. But fate had its own timing. In 2020, a casual dinner with a mutual friend brought them back together — and something just clicked. Sparks flew that night, and from then on, they’ve been absolutely inseparable. Over the years, they’ve grown hand in hand, supporting one another through school, career changes, and life’s many challenges. Daniel earned his MBA from Crummer Graduate School of Business in 2022, and Giovanna completed her Master’s in Biomedical Sciences in 2024, continuing on her path toward becoming a Physician Assistant. No matter how busy life became, they remained each other’s biggest cheerleaders. Then, on March 29th, 2025, Daniel made all of Giovanna’s dreams come true with the most magical proposal — on a sailboat in Naples, Florida, a place incredibly special to them both. It was the perfect beginning to their forever. Now, they’re getting ready to build a life together in their first home, excited for the future and everything it holds. Their love story has been years in the making, and they can’t wait to start this next chapter — the journey of marriage — in one of the most beautiful places in the world: Tuscany, Italy.
