FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 2:30. Please arrive 15-20 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.

Question

What should we do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There are plenty of easy ways to enjoy Buffalo nearby. You can take a quick walk around downtown to check out the architecture, or head over to the waterfront at Canalside for some fresh air and lake views. If you’re looking to grab a drink, we recommend stopping by Britesmith Brewing on Niagara Street—it’s super close to the reception venue and a great spot to relax with a craft beer before the party gets started.

Question

What is the distance between the wedding ceremony venue and the wedding reception venue?

Answer

5.7 miles which is a 15 minute drive

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We respectfully request no children at the reception, allowing all of our guests to enjoy an adults-only evening.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is formal cocktail. For women, this means a midi to long evening dress, and for men, a suit and tie are appropriate.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know when you RSVP.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available. For the ceremony there is a small lot available located on Deerhurst Park Blvd behind the church for our guests who may need a shorter walking distance. We kindly ask that those spaces be reserved for anyone with mobility needs or who would benefit from closer access. For all other guests it will be street parking. For the reception there is a parking lot attached to the venue in which the entrance is located. If the parking lot fills there will be an over flow lot across the street. Cars may be left in the lot overnight if needed.
