Yes, there is a block booking for guests on the night of the wedding in Ballyseede Castle. Please contact the venue directly to confirm your reservation and mention you are attending our wedding. We recommend booking your room as soon as you know you will be attending if you wish to stay in the castle. When you visit the website, click "Wedding Guest" and and use the booking promo code for our wedding: W60618. The rooms reserved at the castle are booked on a first come, first serve basis. See the "Hotel" tab for other recommended accomodations!
Both the Wedding Ceremony and Reception are formal attire. Women wear floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses, men wear suits with neckties or bowties.
We can only accommodate those formally invited on your wedding invitation. Formal wedding invitations will be sent 4-6 months in advance of the wedding and you will be asked to RSVP at that time. Your invitation will be addressed as {Your Name} & {Guest Name} if a plus one has been given to you.
We recommend you stay in Tralee the night before and the night of the wedding reception. There are plenty of hotels in the area, including the ones linked under the "Hotels" tab. If you plan to attend our Day 2 in Dingle, we recommend staying within walking distance of Dingle town. Because summer is a busy time in Dingle, we advise you to book accommodation as soon as possible.
Yes, we highly recommend booking a rental car to get to Kerry. While there is a train to Tralee from Dublin, it is difficult to get around without your own car. Remember: people drive on the left side of the road in Ireland!
1. First make sure your passport is valid! 2. Be selective with your international phone use. Turn off data and use WIFI when able to avoid excessive international charges. 3. Bring a power adapter. Power outlets are not the same in Ireland & the US. 4. When you are flying out of Dublin give yourself plenty of time, at least 3 hours. Customs and immigration are done before you leave and the security lines can be long.
