Tons of shops and the closest "city" near us. This is where you will find your major grocery stores and outlets. A simple 45 minute drive down Route 1.

Ellsworth

Bar Harbor has a world renowned vibe that blends seashore community, and downeast character. It is the best known town on Mount Desert Island. Our family always makes a trip during our stay and we are never disappointed. It's a little over an hours drive away. It's totally worth it if you have the time after the wedding!
