Update

Dearest friends and family,

In accordance with the state of Connecticut governor's guidelines, our outdoor wedding will be socially distanced following all the strict safety guidelines that are required. Consequently, our wedding has transformed into a smaller circle of guests. All details remain the same, however the reception at Aria will take place on their sprawling outdoor grounds, vistas and veranda. Looking forward to sharing our special day with you, Christina & Ryan

How We Met

November, 2015

We met in the most traditional and comically predictable ways - Ryan quite literally ran into Christina! Both were leaving work for the day, they crossed paths and introduced themselves. It was learned later on that Ryan had to stage their paths crossing just to meet Christina.

The Proposal

February 16th, 2019

We were celebrating 4 wonderful years together with a night out in Portsmouth, NH. Christina had always wanted to try dinner at Mombo, near Prescott Park. So dinner at Mombo's it was, and afterwards Ryan wanted to stroll through the park. Being winter, and dark, it was mostly trying not to slip on ice and cold! They made it to the docks where they could see the lights from the Portsmouth Memorial Bridge were reflecting on the water. Christina thought it was beautiful, and took a few minutes to admire before turning to head home, which was just over that bridge. As she turned, Ryan whipped a ring box out of his pocket and got down on one knee. It took all of a few seconds for the shock to register, and much more time for the surprise to wear off, but through tears Christina said yes! This is how their forever started...

Where We Are Now

Present

Ryan & Christina continue to work for Pratt & Whitney in North Berwick, Maine as Senior Engineers. Ryan works on programming and functionality for the CNC machines which manufacture jet engine parts. Meanwhile, Christina works as a Designer who controls the geometry and innovation of the jet engine parts in her expertise. Ryan & Christina had the opportunity to study for their graduate degrees together in 2015 and 2 years later they graduated with Masters in Engineering from RPI. Outside of work & school, they have started building a house together in Berwick, Maine. It is designed to be their forever home, with the construction to be completed by Spring 2020!
