Although we love each and every one of your keiki, our wedding is a kid-free event. We made this decision with the hopes that the parents on our guest list can let their hair down and enjoy the night with us with no worries! We hope you understand!
Yes. The venue is about 7 miles from downtown Kona where most hotels are located. Our venue holds spaces for 43 cars. If you are planning to come with other members of your ohana, please try to carpool if possible. If you are planning to drink, please plan to have a designated driver or Uber to ensure the safety of yourself and others. Please be mindful that if any cars are left on the venue property the night of the event, the venue will charge us $150 per car.
If you choose to fly with Alaska Airlines, there are direct flights from SEA to KOA (Kona airport). This will be the easier option for those traveling from Western Washington. However, please do your own research on flights and choose what works best for you.
Our dress code is resort wear or semi-formal attire. Black tie is not required, but please dress nicely for this event. After all, if you look good, you feel good too :)
If your invitation lists another person's name, then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you due to limited guests allowed at the venue.
A typical October in Hawai'i will be about 70s-80s in terms of temperature. Keep in mind that it will be humid. The venue is up mauka (mountain side) so there is a chance of rain or light drizzle. There will be a tent covering the dining tables and bar area during the reception. The ceremony, however, will be uncovered.
