When should I RSVP by?

Answer

You can RSVP on this very website--just look at the top of the screen. Please send us your acceptances or regrets by August 31st, 2025. If you have any trouble please contact Lajuana Whitner-Bason

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

By 4:45, after that the gate closes and you will not be allowed in to park until the ceremony is over. We understand that things happen but please plan to leave your home early as the venue is extremely strict in this rule.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

It will be most likely warm with a chance of rain as it's the start of Fall. The ceremony and the reception will be hosted outside while the dance floor will be inside. We recommend checking the weather before packing and dressing for the day.

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are a handful of other hotels in the area for you to choose from that we've have listed on our wedding page. To see the many choices, please click the link that says "travel".

Can I park at the venues?

Yes, there is plenty of parking at the venue.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Unfortunately, special exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis. When you RSVP, your children will be included in your household’s RSVP profile—just let us know if they’ll be attending so we can ensure we have enough food and seating. Otherwise, we hope you’ll enjoy a relaxing evening with us!"

Most importantly, when will we eat?

Answer

Cocktail hour will begin at the reception venue at 5:30pm where there will be snacks and drinks. Dinner will begin at 6:30pm.

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes! We beer and wine to get everyone started. For those who don't drink, we will have an ice coffee truck, non-alcoholic cocktails/beer , soda, and water.

Do I have to RSVP? Can't I just tell you I'm going to be there (or not)?

Answer

Yep, you have to. For the sake of our sanity, please use the RSVP link at the top. It is far easier for us than dealing with 50 forms of communication for RSVPing. If you are having issues with RSVPing online, please call Lajuana Whitner-Bason.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately there is a limit on the guests we can invite and cannot accomadate a plus one for everyone. If you are a special case where we have allowed you a plus one, we have listed her/his name or "Plus One" on your RSVP profile. If you feel we left out someone important, let us know, but understand that our limitations may mean our hands are tied.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Some parts of the walkway are cobble stone, please use this information to help you with your glass slipper choices.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We have paid for two professional photographers to capture how the ceremony looks, we have invited you so you may capture how the ceremony feels. We ask you turn off your electronics during our ceremony to ensure you are in the moment and not in the way of our photographers. Some of these photos will be posted on social media for viewing purposes. After the ceremony is complete and the wedding party has exited, you may turn on your devices and take pictures of whatever you wish!

What do I do if something changes and I can/can't make it after I have RSVPed?

Answer

We understand things come up. Just email us right away so we can make changes.

Question

Who do I call in case I get lost the day of the wedding?

Answer

You can call the brides mom at but your best bet may be to use Google Maps on your phone.

Question

Can I take home centerpieces, decorations, etc?

Answer

No. Some of the decorations are borrowed or the couple are hoping to reuse so please on leave our reception with a bag of candy, full belly, and memories of the evening.
