Mid to late October is usually beautiful—mild days and cool evenings, with average highs in the upper 60s and lows in the 40s. Layers are your best friend!

What airport should I fly into?
Answer
The Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (CHA) is the most convenient and just minutes from downtown. Other nearby options include Atlanta (ATL), Nashville (BNA), and Knoxville (TYS)—all about 2–2.5 hours away by car. Please see the "Travel" tab for additional information.
