A classic love story on “swiping right” on an online dating app. We immediately matched and conversation flowed so well. We decided to meet and go out to “Little Bit of Texas” for a couple of drinks. Within the first 30 minutes it felt like we had known each other for years. After numerous attempts, Chandler finally got me to dance. If you know me, that is a big deal because I am a terrible dancer! I left that night telling my friends and family I just had a feeling that he is THE ONE. We continued going out on dates, getting to know each other more and more. I then got to meet the cutest little boy in the world, Wyatt Bradley. We just all seemed to fit so well together. Us, Wyatt, Tegan and Sansa (the dogs). Now it’s been over 2 years, and they have flown by, but we are so excited for our future together and can’t wait for everyone to join us on our special day!
That Friday evening, we went out on a date night to the Capital Oyster Bar and had a delicious dinner. When we got in the car I thanked him for taking me out on our date. He responded with, “Well, it’s not over yet.” So we drove around and I’m trying to figure out where we were headed. We ended up in downtown Montgomery at the Riverfront. We took a nice walk down to the water and laughed at the Sip and Cycle Pedal Boat riding by blaring Lil Boosie and having the best time! Once they passed, as he is about to get on one knee… he says “ah crap”. I turn around and there was a homeless guy walking right towards us. 😂 So once the guy passed us, I was turned around watching to see where he went and at that point Chandler had gotten on one knee behind me and tapped me on the hip. I turned around and there he was, on one knee asking me to marry him. Something I have waited for, for so long. This is the man I know I am supposed to spend my life with and that was the best date night we have ever had!
