We met freshman year at George Mason University in 2012, living just two doors down from each other on the same dorm floor. We shared classes, late-night study sessions, and yes —Chunyu even tutored Jordan (meal swipes in exchange for homework help — the art of the deal!). Over the years, our friendship grew alongside shared friend groups, Chick-fila runs, and campus adventures. By senior year in 2016, that friendship blossomed into something more, and that's when we officially started dating (and when Jordan discovered he was Chinese). Fast forward to our pre-engagement years: we spent eight amazing years learning all about each other’s quirks, hobbies, and passions — especially our shared love for travel, shopping, and most importantly… raving. In 2019, Chunyu took Jordan to Vegas for the very first time. Our night at XS nightclub to see The Chainsmokers was life-changing. That night unlocked a new level of our love for going out—and we haven’t looked back. From that one epic Vegas night, we went on to experience 50+ raves and 5+ festivals together, creating memories we’ll never forget — dancing under strobe lights, chasing sunsets (and sunrises), and celebrating life with friends and music as our soundtrack, the inspiration to celebrate with all our friends. After years of adventures, laughter, and many late-nights, we got engaged on October 18th, 2024, legally married on May 29th, 2025, and ready to keep dancing (and diving) through life — together. The rest, as they say, is history.
