Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family all dressed up for this occasion! Please dress in formal attire. For ladies, midi to floor length dresses would be perfect. For gentlemen, full suits would be appropriate. Color is encouraged, but please do not dress to the holiday.

Are any events outside? What will the weather be like?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing will be outside, and dinner will be inside. The ceremony will likely be warm but shaded. After the sun dips below the mountains, the temperature will cool off for dancing later in the evening!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be multiple buses parked outside the AC Hotel and Residence Inn starting at 2:30pm. Look for buses that say "MT Party Bus" on the side. The buses are scheduled to leave the hotels at 2:45pm, so please allow time to load on the buses. The bus ride should take approximately 30 minutes to reach the venue, and the driver will drop guests off at the lower parking lot. A shuttle will be available to transport guests from the bus drop-off to the venue with plenty of time for all guests to get settled before the ceremony starts. One shuttle will leave the reception at 8:00pm in case anyone may need to leave the party early. After the reception ends at 10:00pm, all buses will be waiting in the lower parking lot to return to the hotels. The buses are scheduled to leave at 10:20pm, so please allow time to load on the buses.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! If you prefer to drive your own car, there is a designated parking lot for guests. The parking lot is a short walk uphill to the venue, and a golf cart will be available to transport those with limited mobility. Please note that RVs are not permitted to park at the venue.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are looking forward to celebrating with our loved ones! Your invitation will indicate how many seats we have reserved in your honor.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children less than one year old are welcome to attend. If your infant begins fussing during the ceremony, we encourage you to step away to soothe them. We hope you understand that we will not have high chairs available during dinner.

Why Montana?

Answer

The Bitterroot Valley, just south of Missoula, holds a special place in our hearts. Caroline grew up spending her summers in Hamilton, an hour south of Missoula and where she fell in love with the environment. Ethan first visited Montana in the summer of 2023 and compared everything to the show "Yellowstone". In the summer of 2025, he proposed in the mountains outside of Hamilton. We are super excited to share this special place with you!
