The National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall (國立中正紀念堂) is a famous national monument, landmark, and tourist attraction erected in memory of Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek. Who is the former President of the Republic of China. It is located in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan. The monument, surrounded by a park, stands at the east end of Liberty Square. It is flanked on the north and south by the National Theater and National Concert Hall. The lower level of the monument houses an art museum, gift shops, and restaurants.

Often referred to as "The Harajuku or Shibuya of Taipei" Ximending (Shi Men-Ting) is a shopping district and neighborhood. Ximending is the source of Taiwan's Japanese fashion and subculture. Ximending has over 20,000 vendors and is a popular area for youth and tourists. The Ximending "Theater District" is Taiwan's largest LGBT district.
