There will be an ADA accessible lot adjacent to Lela Rainey Wood Hall where the Kimball Ballroom is located, at the southeast corner of N. College and Walnut St. Parking is also available in the Short Street Garage just North of The Broadway Hotel on Walnut St and Short Street, just two blocks west of the Kimball Ballroom. Because the ceremony will be held the first day of spring break there will be a great deal of parking available on campus. East of Lela Rainey Hall is a parking lot that should have multiple open spots. Here is a map of the campus: https://www.stephens.edu/assets/Docs/About-Stephens/2018-Map-Parking.pdf
Seating starts at 6pm. Ceremony to start at 6:30pm. Reception will start between 7:30 and 8pm, depending on the length of time to flip the room. During this time you can linger and catch up with friends or go to dinner at one of the nearby restaurants downtown.
Yes, until 7pm. Thanks to Mike Matthes for that one.
We have so many friends and family members we love, so the guest list could be pretty tight. But if you want to bring someone and haven't a plus one on your invitation please contact the bride to check. I mean if you want to bring a date we want you to have one. But never underestimate weddings as hot spots for meeting people.
NO KHAKIS You don't look that good in them anyway. -The Bride *Chuck says This was not a unanimous decision.
The Broadway Hotel is two blocks away and will give you a special rate as our guests. Discount code is KCG or use the code on the travel page.
🤷♀️ But you can get it on Amazon or Wish if you want to try pulling it around yourself.
Black and silver. But what will the bride think of I wear black to her wedding?!? That you look elegant. As long as you don’t wear a black veil, you’re good. Follow up question: Is this dress (outfit) I want to wear “too much”? No. Go as extravagant as you like. Top it with an elaborate hair piece or hat of you like, as long as you’re willing to take it off or sit in the back during the ceremony.
