There are so many to pick from it's endless! We highly recommend downloading the "All Trails" app to see all your options and trail routes. Here are a few of our favorite hikes in the nearby area: Longs Peak (Class 3 14er in Estes Park- 14,259 elevation) Bears Peak (8.4 mile loop in Boulder- 8,461 elevation) Herman Gulch (6.4 miles out and back in Idaho Springs- 1,754 elevation gain) Mount Evans (Class 2 14er in Idaho Springs- we will be hiking Wednesday, 8/23/23 for anyone interested in joining us!) There are many options for hiking this mountain with varying intensities and lengths, all provide for a great trip and stunning views! Mount Evans is also drivable- in fact it's the highest paved road in North America! On the 14-mile one-way drive, you can stop at Mount Goliath Nature Center, Summit Lake Park and the Summit Interpretive area of Mount Evans. *IMPORTANT- Please check out the recereation site for tickets.
